NP/PA Gastroenterology opening in Lewiston, MELocated in Lewiston, ME - Portland 40m; Augusta 35mFull-time; PermanentEmployedSeeking Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantGastroenterology experience preferred Overview: Join an established Gastroenterology team providing care for patients with acute and chronic GI, pancreatic, and hepatobiliary conditions Evaluate patients, perform histories and physical exams, develop treatment plans, and order/interpret diagnostic testing Manage conditions including GERD, IBD, IBS, peptic ulcer disease, chronic liver disease, viral hepatitis, pancreatic disorders, and GI bleeding Provide pre- and post-procedure evaluations for endoscopic procedures Educate patients on disease management, medications, nutrition, and preventive care Collaborate with Gastroenterologists, Primary Care, Surgery, Oncology, Radiology, Nutrition, and other specialties May assist with inpatient consults, hospital rounding, and procedural support depending on practice needs NP or PA candidates considered 1-3 years of Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, or Primary Care experience preferred
