Travel RN PCU job at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA: The 8R Cardiac Procedural & Surgical Unit (IMCU) is a 24-bed intermediate care unit recognized with the ACCN Silver Beacon Award for excellence in patient care and teamwork. You will care for pre- and post-cardiac surgery patients, including those undergoing bypass surgery, valve repairs, thoracic procedures, and cardiac device placements. You must have a minimum of 2 years of progressive care unit (PCU) experience within the last 3 years, with strong skills in cardiac and surgical patient management. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and working in a collaborative hospital environment is recommended.
